December 6th Update

Hello All,

We may be preparing for the snowy winter weather, but plans for the upcoming

BAMB season are well underway. Here are the dates for Training Weeks I and II

and Band Camp for the summer of 2012. Registration dates will be determined and

announced soon.

Leadership Camp (For student leaders, determined in the Spring): Monday July 16,

8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Training Week I: Tuesday July 17 - Friday July 20, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Band Camp at Edinboro University: Sunday July 22 - Friday July 27

Training Week II: Tuesday August 7 - Friday August 10, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

We will also have rehearsals on Korb Field between Training Week I and the week

that school begins. This will help us next year because we have a home game as

the first game of the season so we'll need to have 2 shows done right away.

These rehearsal dates and times are:

Monday August 13 8:00-Noon

Wednesday August 15 2:00-4:30

Friday August 17 2:00-4:30

Some other highlights for next season are Band Senior Night on September 21 and

Homecoming on October 12. We do have an evening rehearsal scheduled before

senior night to make sure that show is ready since it's earlier. That rehearsal

will be Wednesday September 19 from 6-9 pm.

Of course all of this information will be sent to you in the June mailing as

part of the usual season calendar.

Volunteers Needed

The Brush Band Boosters provides many services in support of the Brush High bands. Opportunities are available to participate during Band Camp, football season, and fundraising activities.
 
Band Parents! Get involved and help make the 2011-12 school year a memorable one for your band students. Download the Volunteer Form for a list of opportunities and information on how you can be an active member of the Brush Band Boosters.
 

Uniforms
 

Need gloves, spats or berets?

We sell these before each football game in the hallway outside the Band Room. Gloves are $2.00, spats are $8.00, and berets are also $8.00. We accept cash (please bring small bills) or checks made out to Brush Band Boosters. 

 

T-shirts and sweatshirts are custom printed so we are unable to make exchanges for sizing. 

 

Dry Cleaning

Our dry cleaner is Grace Brower. If you'd like your uniform cleaned during football season, please call her at (cell) 440-823-9445 and you may drop off the uniform in a plastic bag with your name and phone number inside and $5 cash at her house (29275 South Woodland). You will need to get it to her on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday at the latest in order to get it returned by Thursday. She will call you when it is ready and to arrange a time to pick it up. Feel free to use another cleaner, but make sure they clean inside the pant leg. They don't all do that.
